What is the minimum and maximum age?
All of our features and attractions under single tickets are for all ages except for Soft Play (9 and under) and Darts (14 and over). The idea of the park is to give all members of the family something to enjoy. We also have an under 3’s ground based soft play area too. We also have younger ages in the earlier sessions (see booking page).

Any child 12 and under must always have a parent/guardian on site.

The standard ticket (specialist or timed – 1 hour etc) allows access to all the activity areas subject to some age restrictions on soft play. Bar Games are charged separately but all Activity Areas and Arcades are free to use.

Any spectator is not allowed on the activity equipment.

Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your session to allow time for check-in, wristband distribution, and a safety briefing prior to the start of your session. Late arrivals may result in missing part of your session and possibly be moved to the next available session (if there is availability). To accommodate all our guests, we are unable to extend your session to make up for any lost time due to late arrivals and it will not always be possible to move to another session if it is fully booked. Refunds will not be issued for sessions missed by arriving late.

The well-being and the safety of our guests and team members is our top priority. We require all participants, participating adults and spectators to complete a waiver. We also require everyone to read and follow the rules. You must watch a safety briefing video of the rules before you enter the park or demonstration from Staff.

Spectators must also sign a waiver to allow them to be on site.

Park rules must always be a followed in the park. No individual may access the park without completing a waiver and confirm understanding of the Park rules.

Any person is responsible for ensuring safe play by abiding by the rules and safety information displayed or communicated by our team. In the interest of safety for themselves and our other participants, those who are deemed to be unsafe/ failing to comply by park rules will be removed from the park.

You can use the Eastgate Mall parking areas at the standard charging rates.

We do have “paid for” lockers available on site for your shoes and belongings and also have free shoe storage pods located in the park too. We do not advise that you take any valuables onto the course. If you choose to, please ensure any items are safely secured on you or are in a zipped pocket. Funparx Basildon is not responsible for any theft or damage to your personal belongings.

All participants, participating adults and spectators using and activities (except for Bar Games and Arcades) must wear reusable Funparx anti-bacterial grip socks which are available to purchase online or at reception. These are socks specifically designed to allow grip for climbing and slip for sliding!
Bare feet are not permitted anywhere in the park.

We also recommend you wear something comfortable and suitable for sports activities.

Please ensure you have removed all jewellery, hats and loose objects to prevent loss, damage or injury to yourself or others

There is a café and viewing area around the park at the same level as the activities.

Spectators are not allowed access to the activity areas. Please speak to a member of staff for advice on where prams and car-seats can be stored.

Spectators also need to sign a waiver to allow them to be on the site.
